Home.

Lars Tunbjörk is probably Sweden's most famous Photographer. I stumbled across his book 'Home' (published by Steidl in 2003) in the library months and months ago and have had it ever since. Tunbjörk is essentially a documentary photographer but his work, especially 'Home', is very personal and intimate.

"I wanted to be strictly documentary, but it's all about me" is a quote that sums him up nicely.

'Home' is more of an exploration of his childhood surroundings than a comment or document of middle class Swedish suburbia and is much more refreshing because of it. Now all I have to do is find a copy for less than £400 and i can finally return it to the library!

A Shimmer of Possibility.

A Shimmer of Possibility, fantastic photobook by British photographer Paul Graham. Steidl have just published a second edition, soft bound, that has all 12 books in one volume. BUT if you can get a chance to see the original it's one of the most important photography books published in the last few years.
