But it still has blades

The revelation that Dyson's new blade-less fan does infact have blades, deep inside, doesn't detract from how super cool it is!
Also see how Lunchbreath thinks it will revolutionise your life!

Laura Hensser.

Keep up to date with Laura Hensser whilst she takes up her Artist in Residence position in Skagastrond, Iceland via her Blog. Already she's uploaded some test of 5x4 Polaroid and some video too, keep a look out for some jelly too. I can't wait to see what she comes back with!

Making A Map.

One of the finalists for this years New Nordic Photography Prize, shown at the Hasselblad Center in Gothenburg, was Wakaba Noba. Noba's project 'Making a Map' is published by the fantastic Farewell Books and brings together a great use of sequencing with detached and engaging photographs. Go have a look!

Itchy Scratchy.

Itchy Scratchy is a photography exhibition at the lovely Permanent Gallery in Brighton. It was initiated by Jason Evans and is a collection of 89 photographs by different photographers that all follow the theme of itchy scratchy pictures. It examines the photographs that people take that lead to new things and how similar themes appear within different practices. What I found interesting is that the show is hung alphabetically but there are some lovely combinations of sequences that are all consequential and unplanned. Have a look out for some great photographers, Vivianne Sassen, Sarah Pickering, Gordon MacDonald and Me! The show is on until 8th of November and there are some great nights planned to mark the end of British Summer time and Halloween!

Pitt Rivers.

If you've never been to Pitt Rivers in Oxford you are missing a treat, a great place to rummage and explore. Look out for the witch in a bottle and a shrunken head!

Wild Beasts.

Amazing catchy licks and falsetto vocals? Check. I can't get Wild Beasts newest album Two Dancers out of my head and with a UK tour starting soon, you'll soon be humming, hooting and howling along too.

Fantastic.

Fantastic Mr Fox was my favourite book as a kid, anything by Roald Dahl I was obsessed with! Next month Wes Anderson's stop motion film comes out and over at Apple you can watch a short film about the world of Roald Dahl and how they have incorporated the furniture from Dahl's home into the film. The film opens BFI's London film festival next month and is on general release soon after, I can't wait!
